In this two hour, complimentary session, we will cover relevant topics to help your organization gain traction in this "new normal" and take the next steps with confidence.


In this session we will cover:


PPP Loan Forgiveness -- The Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act, signed into law on June 6th, automatically allows all organizations up to 24 weeks to spend their PPP funds instead of the original 8 week period, among other provisions. During this session we’ll look into PPP forgiveness and how to calculate the amount of eligible payroll costs, eligible benefits, utilities, and other eligible items. We’ll also discuss what the PPP Flexibility Act means regarding FTEs, nonpayroll expenses, etc. Let’s make sure we can turn that loan into a grant!

Internal Controls -- Almost all organizations’ procedures and processes have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. In some cases, the need to move operations to a virtual setting while also having to lay-off staff has caused additional procedural burden on nonprofits. While every organization is different, we’ll look at some steps you can implement within your organization to maintain good internal controls through these challenging times.
