One of the things we enjoy most here at Abdo, Eick & Meyers is sharing knowledge and expertise to help our clients and community thrive. This year, our communities are looking and feeling a bit different, and one of our priorities must be the safety of our staff, clients, and everyone we interact with. In order to do this, our annual government seminar is going virtual!
This year, we'll be hosting four complimentary 2-hour sessions where our industry experts will cover important topics to help your organization begin to gain traction once again in the "new normal". Sessions will be held the second Thursday of each month from September through December.
In Session 1 we will cover:
- How to Budget in a COVID World -- There's no mistaking that this global pandemic has affected every part of our lives - from the family dynamic and school schedule to our work environment and professional development. For governmental entities, one of the most important challenges you are facing comes in the form of budgeting. We'll discuss the impact that COVID-19 may have on your organization's upcoming budgets.
- Advanced Budgeting & Financial Strategy -- Now that we know that budgets will be greatly impacted by the current social and economic climate, we'll take some time to discuss advanced budgeting techniques you can use to plan for the successful future of your organization. With the right financial strategy, your organization can begin to move forward with confidence.
- Peer Group Discussion -- One thing that may bring comfort during this stressful time is knowing that your peers are experiencing the same challenges that you are. The real-world experiences, advice, and counsel of peers can be an invaluable resource - tap into that resource during this break-out discussion session.
